African History Expert Wanted for AI Research

We are seeking a highly qualified African History expert to join our research team at Continuum Resource Network. As an AI Expert in African History, you will play a crucial role in developing domain-specific questions that probe and illuminate the limitations of modern AI models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop difficult domain-specific questions that probe and illuminate the limitations of modern AI models
  • Support a research department in developing AI models
  • Collaborate with a team of experts to identify issues and provide guidance
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge approaches to data development
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in African History, African Studies, History, or a related field
  • Academic or professional focus in African History
  • Recent experience in the field as a professor, lecturer, instructor, researcher, or consultant
  • Strong English grammar, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to write clear, thorough, and succinct summaries
  • Attention to detail in reviewing and editing written materials
  • Ability to work asynchronously and occasionally meet live to discuss tasks
  • Reliable computer and internet connection
  • Signed NDA and completed background check required
Benefits:

This is a 412-week independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. The role will be remote, and ideal candidates will be located in U.S. time zones and able to work between 8 and 40 hours per week. Workers will be able to set their own schedule.

Previous experience in Test Item Writing, Exam Development, Exam Scoring, or AI is a huge plus. The ability to understand QA workflows, provide guidance to trainers, and identify issues is also highly valued.
