The Recruiting Pros is seeking a talented Product Development Manager to join our team. This role requires experience in developing technical consumer goods products, including those with mechanical, digital, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and IoT functionality.

In this position, you will collaborate with Sales, Sourcing, and retailers to create and manage the 1 – 3 year product strategy for your assigned category. You will work on creating, expanding, and life cycle managing branded and non-branded products to match each retailer's objectives and achieve company goals related to product and category growth, increased market share, revenue, profitability, and ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals.">
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw material, labor, and overhead expenses, to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.">
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to support business activities and present to leadership.">
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and record journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions.">
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with budgets.">
  • Process vendor invoices and payments ensuring accuracy and timely payments.">
  • Process sales and use tax returns quarterly.">
  • Review and process employee expense reports and implement processes to go paperless.">
  • Assist in providing documentation and support during internal and external audits.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.">
  • 3 + years of experience in accounting or finance role in a manufacturing environment.">
  • Understanding of costing methods such as job costing and standard costing.">
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP/IFRS).">
  • Proficiency in accounting software.">
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.">
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.">
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.">
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.">

Salary Information:

We offer an estimated salary range of $95k - $110k plus generous benefits, making this a highly competitive opportunity for experienced professionals.
