Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage information security tools and devices.
  • Implement cybersecurity safeguards and countermeasures.
  • Oversee cybersecurity event management and incident response.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including application development and IT operations.
  • Document and troubleshoot security product policies and configurations.
  • Identify and resolve potential security issues while maintaining thorough documentation.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and enhance the performance of technical security logging solutions.
  • Manage cybersecurity log infrastructure and operational activities.
  • Assist with incident response and problem management for security technologies.
  • Maintain application scripts and manage operational security tools.
  • Track and document security vulnerabilities and requests.
  • Support change management and problem resolution processes.
  • Create detailed security reports for audits and management requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT areas to ensure timely completion of security requests.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational documentation.
  • Respond to security alerts and assist with on-call support.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 2-year degree in a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
  • Ability to work independently and seek assistance when needed.
  • Understanding of security concepts for networks, applications, and operating systems.
  • Experience with vulnerability and patch management.
  • Strong analytical and administrative skills.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation in information security.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows systems is preferred.
