Job Description

This company is seeking a Medical Staff Credentialing Coordinator to join their team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the medical staff credentialing process and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the medical staff credentialing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
  • Coordinate with medical staff and hospital departments to obtain required documentation, fostering strong relationships and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and complete credentialing files, utilizing effective organizational skills.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
  • CPCS or CPMSM National certification, demonstrating expertise in the field.
  • Minimum 5 years in a hospital medical staff office performing duties representative of this position, showcasing relevant experience.
  • College level courses, or equivalent experience, highlighting educational background.
  • Minimum 3 years in a hospital medical staff office performing duties representative of this position or equivalent position related to healthcare or other professional organization, emphasizing transferable skills.
