Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist I to join our team at UMC Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and test patient specimens, ensuring accurate and reliable results
  • Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CAP, AABB, DNV, and FDA
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other hospital departments to ensure seamless communication and patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Clinical Laboratory
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
