$185,910.40 - $226,543.20 per year, based on education, experience, and location.

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Bass Cancer Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide advanced practice nursing care to patients with complex health needs within a specific clinical area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with multiple or complex health needs within a specific clinical area.
  • Use advanced clinical skills in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of patients.
  • Develop and implement standards of nursing practice.
  • Serve as a consultant or expert resource person for other health providers.
  • Facilitate an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to meeting the needs of patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • CA Registered Nurse (RN), CNS - Clinical Nurse Specialist certified by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
