Job Summary

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $59,126 - $107,228 per annum, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. The hiring rate will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, and skills.

A minimum of one year of recent acute care medical/surgical nursing experience is required, with a strong focus on teamwork and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs, developing effective plans to meet these needs.
  • Document patient care in the healthcare record, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Direct and delegate care to other team members, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism through ongoing education and development.
Requirements
  • Accredited School of Nursing diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum one year of recent acute care medical/surgical nursing experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification according to Resuscitation Training Completion Requirements policy.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 120 days of hire.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance, perform hands-on CPR, and move around the area with frequent sitting. They should also be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and kneel frequently. Exposure to biohazard, body fluids, and airborne particles is possible, but proper protective equipment will be provided.
