Nurse Practitioner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at HealthCare Support. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate healthcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, patient-facing
  • Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including ICD-10 conditions
  • Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Conduct advanced illness and advanced care planning conversations
  • Provide patients and caregivers with counseling and education

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted NP license in Washington
  • Minimum 1 year of NP experience (open to new grads if they have a LTC background as an RN)
  • Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program
  • Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with certification in one of the following: Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • COVID vaccination
  • Active DEA certification

Salary: $80-$95 per hour. This role offers a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications.
