About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Support specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
- Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
- Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
- Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
- Participate in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Minimum one year of recent acute care medical/surgical nursing experience is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification is required within 120 days of hire.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be $54,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 403(b) retirement plan, paid time off, and more.
