Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training System Instructor Console Operator to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for facilitating pilot instruction using the Full Mission Simulators (FMS) for the F-35B/C.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct instructional sessions, briefings, follow-ups, and proficiency checks on flight simulators in accordance with federal air regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate trainee progress and recommend qualification or additional training.
  • Review simulator design and training effectiveness to provide maximum proficiency.
  • Coordinate utilization schedules for training flight crews and necessary engineering support.
Requirements
  • Current final secret security clearance with investigation within 5 years.
  • Ability to maintain Special Program Access Clearance (PAR).
  • Strong systems engineering or technical background.
  • Willingness to travel to support mission requirements.
  • Experience interfacing with customers at military locations.
  • Familiarity with F-35 pilot training curriculum.
  • F-35 system knowledge.
  • F-35 Full Mission Simulator experience.
  • Familiarity with the F-35 ALIS program.
  • Currently possess F-35 Program special access.
  • Relevant tactical experience in related skillsets (i.e. Air Controller, JTAC, etc.).
