We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in civil site design, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and project management capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading engineering projects, guiding junior staff, and actively participating in business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of engineering design processes and oversee the development of precise construction drawings.
  • Provide essential support to regional SWCA offices by addressing engineering requirements and collaborating closely with teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across SWCA offices to optimize workload distribution and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct thorough technical reviews of project deliverables to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Actively contribute to Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes to uphold the highest levels of project integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Proven prior work experience in one or more of the following states: Ohio, West Virginia, and New York, showcasing familiarity with regional environmental conditions and regulatory frameworks.
  • Must have flexibility to travel, including short-term overnight stays, to various project sites and client meetings as required.
