Position Overview:
This role involves managing incoming support requests from users through various communication channels, ensuring a professional and courteous interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming support inquiries and incidents from users via phone and email.
- Utilize the ticketing system to document and resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform remote desktop connections to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Conduct password resets and assist with VPN access issues.
- Execute hands-on repairs at the desktop level, including software installations and system configurations.
- Address connectivity and performance issues related to computers, laptops, and printers.
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in technical support.
- Proficient in providing remote assistance.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building rapport and effective listening.
- Quick learner with the ability to retain information efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Comfortable sitting for extended periods.
- General troubleshooting expertise with various hardware and software applications.
- Familiarity with Windows 10, MS Office (2016/O365), and MS Outlook (2013/16/O365).
- Experience with Intune, Webmail, Cisco Jabber, Active Directory, and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of SAP and Maximo for password management.
- Willingness to support other IT teams as necessary.
Education & Certifications:
- Associate degree in Information Systems is required; a 4-year degree is preferred.
