We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Blow Molding Technician to enhance our operational capabilities. The successful candidate will provide essential technical support and diagnostic skills to ensure optimal production efficiency.

Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the effectiveness and dependability of our manufacturing processes by analyzing maintenance data and overseeing various maintenance initiatives.

• Conduct mold changes and perform complete line setups efficiently.
• Engage in hands-on processing activities, including mold startup, sampling, troubleshooting, cycle optimization, setups, and mold changes.
• Examine and test machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose repair needs.
• Dismantle defective machinery, such as blow molding machines, and install new or repaired components according to specifications and blueprints using precision measuring tools and hand instruments.
• Manage scrap levels, reduce downtime, and enhance machine utilization.
• Identify and report potential equipment and facility issues.
• Adhere to all product safety regulations and procedures in line with industry standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Comprehensive understanding of plastic conveying and blending systems, compressed air systems, and water chiller/tower systems.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, drawings, parts manuals, and maintenance literature.
• Commitment to company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Willingness to work overtime as required, especially for urgent repairs.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, along with adaptability and effective communication with colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

A degree in Mechatronics Engineering is advantageous but not mandatory; a minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred, particularly in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Experience in PET Stretch Blow Molding or PET Injection Stretch Blow Molding is preferred; other backgrounds in Injection Molding and Blow Molding will also be considered.

Experience with mold setup or mold change processing is desirable.

Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and welding skills, with the capability to diagnose issues in manufacturing equipment.

Prior experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting/robot programming is preferred.

Forklift certification is a plus.
