Injection Molding Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Molding Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our operations.

• Perform mold changes and complete full line setups in a timely manner.
• Execute hands-on processing tasks, including mold startup, sampling, troubleshooting, cycle optimization, setups, and mold changes.
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions and diagnose issues for repair.
• Control scrap levels, minimize downtime, and optimize machine utilization.
• Identify and report potential equipment and building problems.
• Follow all product safety regulations and procedures in accordance with the SQF code.

• Extensive knowledge of plastic conveying and blender systems, compressed air systems, and water chiller/tower systems.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals, schematics, drawings, parts manuals, and maintenance literature.
• Strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, particularly for emergency repairs.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, adaptability, multitasking abilities, and effective communication with team members.

• A degree in Mechatronics Engineering is a plus but not required.
• A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred, particularly in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Preferred experience in PET Stretch Blow Molding or PET Injection Stretch Blow Molding; other Injection Molding and Blow Molding experience will be considered.
• Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and welding skills, with the ability to diagnose malfunctions in manufacturing equipment.
