Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Back of House Manager to lead our kitchen management operations and enhance the performance of our assigned bar and restaurant location. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating positive, memorable experiences for our customers while ensuring our service areas meet or exceed internal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct assistant kitchen manager, lead cooks, and line cooks against internal food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Manage and audit inventory and control cost of goods with follow-up to assigned reports in the restaurant.
  • Manage and assist with food prep and cooking to recipe specifications.
  • Actively engage in recruiting efforts for the restaurant, including assisting with staffing during periods of turnover and high-volume events.
  • Ensure service areas of the restaurant, including the kitchen and bar, meet or exceed internal standards at all times.
  • Meet financial objectives and increase sales and customer base.
  • Contribute to preparing development plans for direct reports, including scheduling of meetings and check-ins.
  • Maintain regular communication with the staff and leadership.
  • Ensure that all applicable food safety standards, both internal and external, are met.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience leading bar or restaurant kitchen operations required.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, maintain a sense of urgency at all times, and be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
