Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Significant experience in proposal development and responding to funding requests.
  • Over 10 years of experience managing engineering programs within the optical communications or photonics field.
  • Proven expertise in designing products for both commercial and defense sectors.
  • Hands-on experience in optical design for applications such as microscopy, LiDAR, and optical networking.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product design timelines and conduct technical evaluations.
  • History of effectively communicating technical product information to external stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise in hardware design for chip-scale applications.
  • Strong skills in creating technical documentation for product development.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
