Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a client base, managing HVAC/plumbing sales, and overseeing field labor for each project. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: The Senior Project Manager is the single point of contact for ACCO and the customer. They will perform all project management functions, including concept engineering, complete estimates, written proposals, direct meetings, and successful job completion.
  • Financial Management: The Senior Project Manager will forecast and prepare budget projections, control costs within agreed-upon limits, and provide letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, and strategies for good business procedures and legal protection.
  • Relationship Building: The Senior Project Manager will build and manage relationships with internal and external customers, including vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
  • Communication: The Senior Project Manager will effectively communicate with internal and external customers, including consulting with ACCO personnel, attending project management sales and construction meetings, and scheduling and coordinating pre-construction job meetings.
  • Mentoring: The Senior Project Manager will act as a mentor to others, actively participating in recruiting, training, and coaching.
Requirements:
  • Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in estimating, design, and management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million
  • Skills: Ability to operate independently and autonomously, strong interpersonal and project management abilities, and ability to develop new business

Physical Requirements:
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Hours:

Monday through Friday, beginning between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, and ending between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch. Eight hours per day is required, and occasional overtime may be necessary due to business needs.

Travel:

O - 5% of the time to and from the assigned office location to regional branch offices and/or to project/customer site(s).

Competitive Wages:

$117,000 to $193,500 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others.
