Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Kendal At Ithaca. This is a full-time position working 32 or 40 hours per week, with an evening shift schedule. The successful candidate will have current New York State certification as a CNA and good communication skills.
Responsibilities- Provide quality hands-on care to elderly residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Use mechanical and non-mechanical equipment to transfer residents when lifting exceeds 35 pounds
- Promote and restore residents' quality of life by providing nursing care as determined by their individual plans of care
- Current New York State certification as a CNA
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand/walk most of the shift and push, pull, lift, and transfer residents
- Rate of pay is $21.00 to $26.00, based on date of certification and experience
- Sign on Bonus $1,000 paid in installments
