Job Summary

Unity House of Cayuga County is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
  • Assist with medication administration, as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and services provided.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current CNA certification in New York State.
  • Valid NYS driver's license, as required by OPWDD/Agency regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
