Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Specialist to assist the lead man in assembling forms from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic measurements and be able to read production drawings/blueprints with precision.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Assemble custom-designed production forms to blueprint specifications using a variety of tools, including staple guns, brad nailers, hammers, measuring tapes, pneumatic nail guns, and circular saws.
Maintain good housekeeping and follow Gate Precast safety policies and procedures at all times.
Demonstrate excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
Collaborate with the lead man to ensure timely completion of projects.
Perform additional duties as requested or required.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. Some rebar/construction experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, twist, and walk, must be able to use various hand tools or controls; reach with hands and arm; limb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch or crawl.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Constant and continual medium to heavy manual physical labor is required for this position.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel toe ankle work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, back brace, forearm shields, and safety vests.

This is an indoor/outdoor work environment:
Exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand, and dust.
