Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at BoosterPet, LLC. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality medical care to our furry patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures, including triage, vitals, and medication administration
  • Support urgent care services and wellness programs, including laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring continuity of patient care
  • Educate animal owners on pet care and health, promoting a positive and supportive environment
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure a safe and healthy environment for pets, clients, and staff
Requirements
  • Experience in a veterinary setting, preferably with a Medication Clerk license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
