This luxurious venue provides an exceptional experience with breathtaking views of lower New York City.

As a Concession Attendant, your role involves preparing food and beverages for patrons. The specific menu items and responsibilities may differ based on the location and type of concession stand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding hospitality to all guests, ensuring prompt, efficient, and timely service in a dynamic environment, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Accurately take orders from guests, prepare and serve food and beverage items, generate bills, and process payments.
  • Execute opening, closing, and ongoing sidework duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all surfaces, equipment, and workstations as required or per a management-established schedule.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of ingredients and service methods to confidently address customer inquiries.
  • Organize the Food and Beverage display/counter area to meet standards and restock items to maintain minimum stock levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow servers, server assistants, and food runners to enhance service quality.
Equipment Transportation and Setup:
  • Load and unload equipment to designated areas as necessary.
  • Transport equipment using hand trucks, dollies, or other moving devices.
  • Safely navigate equipment through tight spaces and around obstacles.
  • Assist in the setup and installation of equipment at the designated location.
  • Adhere to specific instructions for proper placement and configuration.

Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with NYC Department of Health regulations.
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Food and Beverage operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and possess effective communication skills.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds as needed.
  • Genuine interest in the hospitality industry.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including weekend availability.
  • Ability to positively influence the actions, decisions, and perceptions of others.
