About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Community Choice Financial Family of Brands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling financial transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Transactions: Process customer transactions, including check cashing, money transfer, and customer payments, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Manage Point of Sale (POS) systems, enter customer information, and maintain accurate records.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell financial services to customers, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to accurately enter data and maintain accurate records.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing.
  • Cash Handling: Experience with cash handling, cash drawer/vault management.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
