Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic financial oversight and direction to the Chief Financial Officer and senior leadership.
  • Oversee the formulation and implementation of the hospital's annual budget, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations.
  • Manage the Finance Division, encompassing revenue cycle management, medical records, procurement, accounting, accounts payable, payroll, patient access, and inventory management.
  • Lead a skilled team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of teamwork, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to the CFO, Board of Directors, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA, GAAP, and Medicare cost reporting.
  • Administer cash flow and debt management activities to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Identify and execute cost-reduction strategies to boost operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various departments to meet organizational objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in healthcare finance.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles within the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing complex financial plans.
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience in building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems (HIS) is advantageous.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
