Operational Focus:

Our operations encompass natural gas, crude oil, and produced water gathering systems across several key unconventional resource basins:

  • Williston Basin, North Dakota, featuring the Bakken and Three Forks formations;
  • Denver-Julesburg Basin, including the Niobrara and Codell formations in Colorado and Wyoming;
  • Fort Worth Basin, Texas, home to the Barnett Shale;
  • Piceance Basin, Colorado, which includes the liquids-rich Mesaverde formation and emerging Mancos and Niobrara formations.

Infrastructure Systems:

Our systems are designed to serve the following basins:

  • Polar & Divide system for the Williston Basin;
  • DFW Midstream system for the Fort Worth Basin;
  • Grand River system for the Piceance Basin;
  • Niobrara G&P system for the DJ Basin.

We also operate Double E Pipeline, LLC, which provides natural gas transmission services from various receipt points in the Delaware Basin to delivery points around the Waha Hub in Texas.

Our revenue model is primarily based on long-term, fee-based gathering agreements, ensuring stability and minimizing exposure to commodity price fluctuations.

Position Summary:

The Utility Locator Specialist is tasked with identifying, marking, and documenting various underground utilities, including pipelines and electrical cables. Responsibilities include:

  • Locating all company utilities and witnessing third-party line crossings;
  • Documenting crossings and updating ticket statuses;
  • Filing necessary paperwork and issuing ground disturbance permits;
  • Managing regulatory compliance documentation and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee health, safety, security, and environmental protocols to ensure safe operations;
  • Manage One Call Systems effectively;
  • Maintain technical skills in line locating;
  • Adhere to regulations, policies, and procedures;
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • 1-5+ years of experience in underground utility locating, particularly pipelines;

Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with DOT guidelines related to pipeline systems;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently;
  • Basic understanding of oilfield operations;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Organized with a focus on accurate reporting;
  • Willingness to be located within a 75-mile radius for call-out situations;
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Proficient in mapping systems and software such as Google Earth, Excel, and One Call systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate elevated areas and perform strenuous physical activities;
  • Capable of lifting and transporting loads up to 75 lbs;
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
