Position Summary: The ATF Compliance Specialist (SEC) is responsible for ensuring the company's operations adhere to Federal Firearms regulations. This role involves a wide range of tasks within the Compliance and Legal Group, requiring meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to meticulously manage and review compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy in all submissions and records.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions for compliance-related challenges.
  • Skill in managing multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing responsibilities, and meeting deadlines, especially in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software (Oracle, Agile) and understanding of electronic reporting systems.
  • Perform daily National Firearms Association (NFA) reservations and electronic manufacturing reports.
  • Complete and submit necessary NFA forms.
  • Conduct daily Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) traces and manage NFA cycle counts.
  • Update current customer Federal Firearm Licenses (FFLs) in Oracle and Agile
  • Manage open orders and allocations related to NFA.
  • Assist in correcting serial number and account discrepancies.
  • Support Sales and shipping with order holds and shipments.
  • Ensure daily put away, cycle counting, picking, and shipments are completed.
  • Process receipt transactions on the same day received.

Education/Experience & Skills:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus 1-3 years of professional work experience in a role requiring a high level of detail.
  • Experience working with internal inventory systems in a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required, experience working with Oracle is a plus.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
  • Must be able to follow established policies and procedures, and work with limited direct direction supervision.
  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
