As part of our mission, we are seeking a full-time Radiologic Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality imaging services to support patient care.

Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technology Specialist is responsible for preparing and operating imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic examinations safely and accurately. This role involves:

  1. Setting up and managing radiographic machinery.
  2. Positioning patients effectively for imaging procedures.
  3. Capturing the required diagnostic images as per physician requests.
  4. Submitting results for physician review and diagnosis.

All tasks are performed in accordance with strict safety and regulatory standards. The specialist also assists in executing care plans by performing clinical procedures within their scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare imaging equipment based on physician orders while adhering to departmental protocols to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Prepare patients and conduct radiological procedures.
  • Exhibit proficiency in delivering care and clinical techniques, including basic CPR, vital signs monitoring, and wound care.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs as mandated by departmental protocols.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program is required.

Licensure and Certification:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (R).
  • Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current state licensure as a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) within 90 days of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
