Job Description

First Financial Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative providing banking products and services to its members in Monmouth and Ocean County. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an efficient lending plan and strategy, creating product development and loan promotions.
  • Manage the activities and overall direction of lending and branches, including member experience/service delivery, profitability, and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to the management of the Credit Union's operations, growth, and direction by providing executive-level strategic leadership and direction.
  • Maintain policies and procedures, ensuring branch operations and lending programs are compliant with rules and regulations.
  • Participate in regulatory audits and ensure staff are assigned and complete required job training and compliance courses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-10 years' experience in leadership and management of people, deposit, consumer lending, and product support and development.
  • Detailed knowledge of credit union regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of the credit union industry in regards to products and services.
  • Leadership skills, including motivating, assigning, and assisting staff in daily work.
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, including listening and oral communications.
  • Teamwork skills, contributing to building a positive team spirit.
  • Strategic thinking, organizational skills, and computer proficiency with MS Office, internet, in-house systems, and email.
  • Ability to communicate with subordinates and members to convey or exchange information.
  • Able to make professional presentations to all size groups of any age.
