We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive clinical excellence across our communities as a Regional Vice President of Clinical Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical guidance and leadership to the Health & Wellness/Clinical team, ensuring high-quality care and services for residents.
- Communicate effectively with the Chief Clinical Officer on areas of concern, risk, and sentinel events, conducting thorough investigations and follow-up.
- Develop and implement new policies and procedures, adhering to corporate and external regulatory guidelines, to ensure optimal care and efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance with assisted living and memory support safety and clinical standards.
- Lead the company's quality assurance program, establishing benchmarks and monitoring measures to ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and resolve resident grievances.
- Monitor and analyze resident care data, contributing to the overall strategic direction and management of clinical strategies and resident activities.
- Assist in coordinating action plans to minimize liability and risks resulting from compliance surveys.
- Participate in State and Federal surveys and compliance investigations, reporting findings to senior leadership.
- Support communities in identifying trends, developing corrective action plans, and troubleshooting resolutions.
- Schedule site visits to provide supervision, clinical expertise, and ensure communication.
- Review potential move-outs and move-in denials, ensuring accurate and compliant assessments.
- Provide in-service training and orientation to community staff on survey process, risk management, corporate compliance, and performance improvement.
- Participate in clinical reviews of residents as needed.
- Audit level of care assessments for accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in the interview and selection process for community Directors of Health and Wellness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
- Five (5) years' nursing experience.
- Two (2) years' nursing management experience.
- Maintains knowledge of regulatory compliance in assigned states.
- Experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills and positive community relations skills.
- Excellent grammar and punctuation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work as a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure.
