Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Proposal Research Specialist is tasked with the critical role of identifying and securing bids and agreements with both existing and prospective organizations within Arrow's sector. The primary objective is to contribute to Arrow's success while meeting the sales and profit targets set by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of databases related to bid and proposal requirements to align opportunities with Arrow's mission and operational capabilities.
  • Engaging with industry-specific opportunities to guarantee Arrow's involvement in procurement initiatives.
  • Identifying and registering available opportunities primarily among governmental agencies, retailers, and commercial entities on relevant platforms.
  • Proactively seeking data and research to support initiatives and ensuring timely communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Crafting competitive and persuasive bids and proposals while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Adapting writing styles to meet the expectations of various audiences.
  • Staying informed about platforms that regularly feature RFPs, RFRs, proposals, and contracts, while monitoring timelines and expiration dates.
  • Maintaining a CRM database to effectively track and manage the status of all pipeline opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in using CRMs, particularly Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in researching company-focused proposal and contract opportunities, with the ability to establish an organizational process for pre-bidding information.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with knowledge of other efficiency tools.
  • Experience with Zoom Info is advantageous.
