About the Role:
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process. Your responsibilities will include monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, assessing progress during labor, and assisting with pain management techniques to ensure a safe and comfortable birthing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process
* Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assess progress during labor, and assist with pain management techniques
* Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions
* Assist with childbirth, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures
* Educate and support mothers and their families during the postpartum period
Requirements:
* Current RN license
* BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
* Two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
* Strong communication and adaptability skills
