Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Educator and Trainer to join our team at Metropolitan Healthcare Services Inc. as a Clinical Education Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and training processes for our clinical education and training programs, including curriculum development, instructor training, and quality assurance.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for healthcare professionals, including curriculum design, instructor training, and evaluation.
  • Oversee the administration of training programs, including scheduling, registration, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training content, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to instructors to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality training.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of training programs to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Missouri or multistate licensure privilege.
  • At least two (2) years of experience as an RN, with a minimum of one (1) year in a leadership or training role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive training programs, including curriculum design and instructor training.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
