Job Overview

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Intern to join our team at our World HQ in Monroe, MI. As a Merchandising Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Merchandise Department and gain hands-on experience in product development, marketing, and sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of merchandising strategies and plans
  • Conduct market research and analyze sales data to inform product decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results
  • Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Provide administrative support to the Merchandise Department

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor's degree program focused on Merchandise or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
