Role Summary

The Mechanical Systems Specialist role at Toyota executes initial machine setup, increasing Operation Availability through continuous improvement and technical issue resolution.

This position supports Capital Projects from planning to Start of Production by modifying machine function and design.

The ideal candidate has experience with industrial controls engineering, electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, and Servo Motion Controllers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute initial machine set-up and increase Operation Availability through continuous improvement and technical issue resolution.
  • Support Capital Projects from planning to Start of Production by modifying machine function and design.
  • Test and repair electrical equipment or systems, and integrate machines into mass production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial controls engineering, electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, and Servo Motion Controllers.
  • Experience with high-volume production in a clean room environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Toyota offers professional growth opportunities, tuition reimbursement, flextime, and virtual work options, as well as a 401(k) Savings Plan and relocation assistance.
