Job Summary

As a key member of our warehouse operations team, the EMT Team Lead will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of a work group or cell. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure completion of work and customer requirements while complying with all company quality and safety processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the assignments and proper completion of work activities of employees in a given work group, including inspection, general warehouse, material handling, and other related tasks.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating organizational skills and good housekeeping practices in all areas of the warehouse.
  • Ensure all employees work safely and in accordance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate shift start-up activities and end-of-shift clean-up or other tasks as required.
  • Ensure that all necessary tools and materials are available for completion of jobs.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new employees and work instructions as needed.
  • Provide input to supervisors or managers regarding employee performance.
  • Report any accidents or incidents that occur immediately to a supervisor.
  • Report any policy or procedure violations to a supervisor or manager.
  • Participate in and support all health and safety initiatives and requirements.
  • This role requires working directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to communicate procedures and instruct others in a clear and precise manner.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
