Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Repair Operations Manager to join our team at Elevated Facility Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the performance of field operations for all service/maintenance projects, ensuring project schedules are met, and developing action plans to address deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead the performance of field operations for all service/maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting project schedules.
  • Schedule Management: Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met, identifying and mitigating potential delays.
  • Deficiency Management: Develop action plans to address deficiencies regarding safety, callback rates, and technical support, implementing corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Lead Generation: Generate field leads and assist service sales representatives in selling upgrades and repairs, driving revenue growth.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and detail changes in maintenance service documentation, methods, process, design, and delivery, ensuring best practices are implemented.
  • Budget Management: Set budgets for material and labor within company guidelines and complete the required maintenance and repair within those budgets.
  • Training and Development: Conduct field education training, ensuring a safe working environment and promoting employee development.
  • Safety Audits: Perform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Material Management: Coordinate all material deliveries and issuing purchase orders, ensuring timely receipt of materials.
  • Resource Management: Forecast and schedule labor resources, maintaining customer quality assurance, and improving efficiencies.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with co-workers, field employees, clients, and others in contact with the job.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Qualifications: Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Technical Skills: Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, with strong time management and organizational skills, comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft-based computer software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Elevator Industry Experience: Elevator industry experience or experience leading field-level associates/technicians in a similar industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Elevators: Knowledge of elevators, elevator service contracting, and elevator service estimating desired.
