Job Description

Aegis Worldwide is in search of a Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in sourcing and acquiring materials and supplies necessary for the fabrication and production of custom-engineered boiler systems.

Base Salary: $75k to $80k

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with custom made-to-order manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficient in supplier negotiations, inventory management, and oversight.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and predict buying trends and market demands tailored to specific business needs.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with suppliers and wholesalers.
  • Capability to evaluate financial risks associated with purchases.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring materials for engineered-to-order boiler systems.
