We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to provide essential support to our operations. This role is pivotal in fostering a safe and compliant workplace while managing all aspects of human resources. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and legal regulations, staying updated on labor laws and adjusting practices as necessary.
- Oversee payroll processes, verifying hours worked in line with state regulations, with a preference for experience in ADP Workforce Now.
- Act as a reliable resource for employees, addressing concerns and providing conflict resolution guidance.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and manage employee relations with fairness and integrity.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring effective people management.
- Partner with management to enhance recruitment efforts, focusing on attracting diverse talent through refined processes and partnerships.
- Promote a culture of performance excellence through effective performance management and coaching.
- Advise on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and promotions.
- Manage safety training and compliance, investigating incidents and preparing necessary reports.
- Maintain organized employee records and manage leave and PTO tracking.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field is preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 3-5+ years of relevant HR experience in a multifaceted role within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA compliance and training.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now, for effective data management.
- Relevant HR certifications are a plus.
