Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Senior Construction Inspector to enhance our Construction Engineering & Inspection division in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality assurance inspections for roadway and bridge projects, general site activities, traffic management, drainage systems, earthworks, paving, concrete applications, reinforcement steel placement, utility relocations, coordination efforts, and safety compliance. Proficient in interpreting contract documents and construction blueprints. Oversee construction inspection and track construction processes, costs, and performance metrics. Ensure proper document management, quality control, and project record maintenance. Maintain consistency and quality in the documentation of various contracts. Qualifications

NICET II or III Certification is mandatory. At least 8 years of experience related to NJDOT, including roadway (earthwork, subbase, concrete and asphalt paving, drainage, lighting, guardrails, pavement markings, signage, and traffic maintenance inspections for both day and night operations). Experience in bridge construction inspection (both rehabilitation and new builds) is advantageous. A valid Driver's license is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management abilities. Familiarity with NJDOT road specifications. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for effective communication and instruction. What We Offer
