Data Science Specialist

As a Data Science Specialist at Saviance, you will work closely with senior management to create and maintain statistical models that focus on population health claims and big data. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and validate predictive models using population health claims and big data. You will also communicate with senior management and other internal customers to understand business needs and provide analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain statistical models to analyze population health data
Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis
Collaborate with senior management to understand business needs and provide analytical solutions
Communicate effectively with internal customers to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements:
Experience with population health data and statistical concepts such as regression, time series, mixed model, Bayesian methods, clustering, etc.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Oracle, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JSON, and HL7
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
