Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Nurse Practitioner with expertise in Electrophysiology to provide exceptional medical care within the cardiology and heart failure specialty.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver primary care to patients, conducting initial assessments and managing diagnostic tests.
- Evaluate patients, interpret data, and apply advanced healthcare principles.
- Implement evidence-based cardiac care protocols in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Gather comprehensive health and psychosocial histories, focusing on cardiovascular health.
- Assess patients to determine the necessity for interventions, referrals, or follow-up care.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations with a focus on cardiovascular systems, including but not limited to: thyroid, chest, heart, abdomen, and peripheral vascular evaluations.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program and certification recognized by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
  • Valid licensure in the state of employment or a compact party state, along with board certification.
  • Authorization to practice in family health as per the Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Prescriptive authority.
  • Experience in primary care as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Proficiency in using medical instruments and equipment necessary for the role.
  • Familiarity with data management systems and medical record technology.
  • Understanding of relevant federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of disease prevention strategies.
  • Certification in acute care with a focus on cardiac or cardiovascular specialties.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in acute care nursing as a registered nurse.
  • Current Arizona Registered Nurse Licensure and Nurse Practitioner Certificate, along with CPR, ACLS, and DEA certifications.
  • Preferred two years of experience in Electrophysiology.
  • This position is primarily in-office with on-call or rounding responsibilities as needed.

$105,000 - $110,000 annually
