Water Treatment Systems Technician

Overview:
Responsible for the upkeep of all mechanical systems associated with Water Treatment Systems (WTS).

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair industrial machinery.

• Assist in the design and oversight of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

• Aid in the planning of work activities for the team, including scheduling and development of operational guidelines.

• Experience in welding, cutting, and fabrication processes.

• Familiarity with lubrication methods and their applications.

• Understanding of hydraulic systems, fluid dynamics, and pneumatic operations.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.

• Capability to repair, install, and maintain various types of pumps, including Vertical Turbine, Horizontal Split Casing, Air Diaphragm, and Peristaltic pumps.

• Foundational knowledge of water treatment systems.

• Proficient in rigging, crane, and mobile equipment operations.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize laser alignment tools.

• Show a commitment to setting and achieving goals.

• Prioritize maintenance tasks to fulfill customer requirements.

• Interpret Process Flow and Process Instrumentation Diagrams.

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (TABWARE) and personal computers.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Safety-focused mindset.

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Strong eagerness to learn.

• Basic understanding of mathematics and water chemistry.

• Willingness to work both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

• Strong emphasis on teamwork.

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work according to production needs.

Preferred:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
