Overview:
Conduct electrical and electronic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on various equipment.
Responsibilities:
Engage in hands-on electrical and electronic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all electrical apparatus in Water Treatment, Power Distribution, and Facility sectors beyond the mill.
Repair and enhance drive control systems, PLC control systems, and other closed-loop industrial controls.
Identify, design, and implement modifications or upgrades aimed at boosting productivity or reliability.
Possess electrical knowledge of high and low voltage systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, circuit breakers, power distribution networks, motors, motor control equipment, instrumentation, PLCs, and AC/DC drives.
Demonstrate computer proficiency, networking skills, and any programming experience.
Candidates should exhibit a strong aptitude for learning and will receive training (through classroom instruction or hands-on experience) in more advanced industry skills such as PLC programming and drive systems, provided they display theoretical knowledge and a strong work ethic.
Comprehend mathematical concepts (geometry, trigonometry).
Qualifications:
Required:
Safety-focused mindset.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong eagerness to learn.
Industrial Electrical training and/or 2 years of relevant experience.
Willingness to work both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
Strong emphasis on teamwork.
Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work assignments based on production requirements.
Preferred:
At least a 2-year Electrical degree and experience in an industrial environment.
