We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services Supervisor to join our team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Environmental Services Staff: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of our Environmental Services staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Oversee the daily cleaning and disinfection of our facilities, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Manage Supplies and Equipment: Coordinate the ordering and distribution of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available to support our operations.
- Monitor and Report on Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Nursing, and Patient Services, to ensure that our facilities meet the needs of our patients and families.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; preferably one year of post-high school education (Management, Business Administration, or related field) and/or exposure to leadership training and responsibilities.
- Experience: Minimum two years of Lead Attendant/Supervisory experience.

- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to dust particles, cleaning chemicals, and organisms that cause diseases. The employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment. Exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. Employee may be exposed to vibrations, including shaking objects or surfaces, which may cause strain on the body or extremities.
- Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $35.50 per hour for the role of Supv-Environmental Services.
