EVS Supervisor

Salary Range: $21.00 - $35.50 per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EVS Supervisor to join our team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As an EVS Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our hospital environment.

Job Description:

• Directly supervise and manage a team of Environmental Services personnel to ensure the maintenance of a clean and safe environment.
• Coordinate daily activities and functions of the Environmental Services department to ensure all customer needs are consistently met.
• Assist in maintaining the Environmental Services budget within acceptable limits.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with department, hospital, and JCAHO standards.
• Coordinate the ordering and distribution of cleaning and disposable supplies.
• Initiate work orders for general repair and maintenance of equipment and furnishings.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train Environmental Services personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure seamless communication between team members and hospital departments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Develop and manage the Environmental Services budget to ensure cost containment and improved efficiencies.
• Coordinate the maintenance of accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of Lead Attendant/Supervisory experience.
• Preferably one year of post-high school education (Management, Business Administration, or related field) and/or exposure to leadership training and responsibilities.
