We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to manage our commercial construction projects in Atlanta, GA.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and be able to read and understand construction plans and documentation.

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing the project jobsite workforce, ensuring an orderly flow of work, sequence of operation, project safety and quality of work with the goal of achieving the scheduled completion date within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the job site from inception through completion.
  • Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
  • Coordinate, monitor and drive the project schedule.
  • Adhere to daily, weekly reporting requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots.
  • Monitor and inspect quality control of work in place and its' adherence to the construction documents, and project requirements.
  • Solve problems in a fair and decisive manner.
  • Maintain a neat, organized job site.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner, always demonstrating leadership and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
