Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Care for Women, a comprehensive women's healthcare clinic in Norman, Oklahoma. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing excellent care to women of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients and obtain pertinent information
  • Room, collect vital signs, perform allergy and medication reconciliation
  • Collect necessary patient data to complete documentation for patient visit in the EMR
  • Assist the physician or advanced practitioner in all aspects of patient care and communication as instructed
  • Timely complete and document all actions taken regarding patient care beyond the patient visit (to include patient and family education, telephone correspondence and triage, prescription refills, forms completion, etc.)
  • Complete referrals and procedure/DI scheduling in a timely manner and obtain authorization when required. Follow up as instructed.
  • Maintain the exam rooms and work environment
  • Adequately stock patient care areas and dispose of outdated medications and stock items according to clinic policy
  • Scans documents, and saving the document appropriately in the patient's EMR
  • Answers telephones, schedules appointments, and takes messages
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care
  • Experience in office clerical activities desirable
  • Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.
