LPN - Women's Healthcare Specialist

Responsibilities:
* Screen patients and obtain pertinent information
* Collect vital signs, perform allergy and medication reconciliation
* Collect necessary patient data to complete documentation for patient visit in the EMR
* Assist the physician or advanced practitioner in all aspects of patient care and communication as instructed
* Timely complete and document all actions taken regarding patient care beyond the patient visit (to include patient and family education, telephone correspondence and triage, prescription refills, forms completion, etc.)
* Complete referrals and procedure/DI scheduling in a timely manner and obtains authorization when required. Follows up as instructed.
* Maintain the exam rooms and work environment.
* Adequately stock patient care areas and disposes of outdated medications and stock items according to clinic policy.
* Scan documents, and saving the document appropriately in the patient's EMR.
* Answer telephones, schedules appointments, and takes messages.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
* Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.
* Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
Compensation and Benefits:
* $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.

Schedule:
* Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
