As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of laboratory tests, which are essential for providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure blood and other body fluids for testing
- Perform and record data from quality control procedures
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Work with a team to ensure efficient and accurate laboratory operations
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited two-year associate degree program in clinical laboratory science
- OR a certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology from a regionally accredited college or university and certification by ASCP or AMT
- OR certification eligible, with the ability to become certified by passing a nationally recognized examination within 1 year from date of hire
