Histology Laboratory Specialist

Columbus Regional Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing and processing tissue specimens for microscopic examination and diagnosis by pathologists.

• Perform complex histological techniques to preserve and prepare tissue specimens
• Work under the supervision of the Histology Coordinator to ensure high-quality results
• Develop and maintain manual dexterity and good visual acuity to perform tasks accurately
• Collaborate with pathologists to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment

• High school diploma or equivalency required
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a biological/physical science or clinical laboratory science highly desired
• Computer skills highly desired
• Six months of previous experience performing basic histological procedures preferred
